24 star Kiefer Sutherland marks debut in theatre as a teacher

Kiefer Sutherland, who is best known for his character of Jack Bauer played in the 24 Episodes has marked his debut as a stage artist, after enthralling his fans with the tough attitude of Counter Terrorist Unit agent in the series.

Well! To be precise, after rehearsing in front of the camera and delivering retakes for every improper shot, he is recently working in a play. The stage which does not give retakes but has a single chance to deliver one’s dialogues.

Kiefer has marked his debut in theatre world by acting in the play titled, ‘That Championship Season’ which was written by late Jason Miller.

The great storyline of Jason revolves around the group of four persons who meet each other after a period of two decades. One thing which is common in them is that they are in the same basketball team during their high school and reunite at their coach’s house.

As the story of the play moves further, it shows how they exchange their experiences about their lives, jobs, and relations and at the same time, the hurdles which cause frustrations. The conversation ascends as they drink together and talk about the ways their lives have been inter-linked with one another.

Providing you with more information on this play; it was written in year 1972 by Jason, a Pulitzer Prize winner, who besides being a playwright was also an actor.
