You guys probably remember Dennis Haysbert, who portrayed the role of President David Palmer in the drama series 24.
The latest buzz is that the actor is all geared up to make his Broadway debut with David Mamet’s play ‘Race’.
Are you missing his performances? No worries….just catch 24 episodes online and get what you want.
Do want to know more about the Haysbert’s upcoming project?
Well let’s listen what Dennis had to say!
When asked about his preference for Broadway drama, the actor said, “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I started a family early, and quite frankly, I had to work in television and film to make money.”
“You don’t do stage for the money, you do it for the love of getting out in front of a live audience and putting it out there,” added the actor.
Well I guess his long cherished dreams are going to be fulfilled with the legal drama ‘Race’. Fans who used to watch 24 would agree with the fact that the 56-year-old actor has his own style of acting.
It won’t be wrong to say that the actor is perhaps made for high-profile roles like that of a political leader or head of state.
In the drama ‘Race’, Dennis Haysbert would portray the role of an attorney named Henry Brown. If we compare his upcoming role with that of 24 series, the former probably demands more of pro-activeness, as he’s in the lead role.
Like me, most of the fans will be hoping that he gives his best and conquers yet another mode of entertainment.
Although it’s difficult to perform in front of a live audience, looking at Haysbert’s confidence, it can be said that he would make it. If you want to catch this never-complacent star, then gift yourself a 24 download.
Talking about his future goals, the heartthrob said that he would love to continue depicting the characters which people love to watch.
I guess he is fully aware of the tastes and preferences of the fans….
